This morning I dropped of my car at the panel beaters and picked up a violet coloured Nissan March. It's not what I would have chosen, but I think it's good to have to do something different, it builds character.
There was the usual range of activities during buddy time this morning, from gardening to poi. Being outside is popular, despite the cold, since we've had all of that rain and been unable to get out. It's just one more aspect I really like about this school, the 'get outside when you can' attitude, rather than the 'park up and do something inside because it's easy' approach. There only needs to be the smallest break in the rain to have everyone descend on the playground, and some don't even wait for that. Which will be one of the reasons why we have such a good netball team, they're out there in amongst getting good.
I'm posting this at lunchtime today so after school I can jump in the violet Nissan and head to the netball, can't wait.
