Rain

I went to the netball on Friday and it was great to watch. They strung together some wonderful passing sequences and really looked the part. It was their first and only loss of the season so they finish with a record of which they can be very proud. When netball becomes an Olympic sport in later years, I'm sure we'll see many of these girls in action. Thanks again to Emily for all of her time and effort.

With the closing ceremony today I'm sure a lot of us will be able to either get more done or just get a lot more sleep. It has been an amazing event, if I only had half the dedication and drive of those athletes. It's scary to think how much time and effort they put in to what they do. They are fantastic role models for the children as they embody the notion that success comes from hard work.  They are also wonderful examples of collaboration, from pairs through to teams. I couldn't even begin to guess how much time a rhythmic gymnastic team spends together perfecting its routine. That's some serious discipline.
