Projects

I don't think yesterday's blog published to the web for some reason sorry, not sure why. It is there now if you would like to scroll down to read it.

It would be good if we had somewhere for the students to park their scooters at school.  There are a number of commercially available options we could look at but I would prefer to have the students involved in constructing their own.  That means I'm on the lookout for a number of things: 

1. A project manager - someone with the skills and know-how to build such items

2. Supervisors - someone or some people to work with the students in constructing the stands

3. Materials - the materials with which to construct the stands

4. Tools - the tools to use in the construction

I know this is a lot to ask but if you don't ask, you don't get, so I'm asking. If you can assist with any or all of these areas please be in touch. 

I want to go do this for the following reasons:

1. To give the community more of an opportunity to be involved with the school

2. To have the students involved in projects which are of benefit to them and the school

3. To save money

So I thought I'd put it out there and we'll see how we go.  The number of people reading the blog is not what it used to be so I might put it in the newsletter as well or you could suggest it to someone who you think would be interested.

The green-thumb brigade were out this morning tending to our gardens and getting them ready for some rejuvenation. It will be interesting to watch it develop.
